Highfields is a privately owned day nursery on the grounds of a large Victorian house. The nursery is set in a peaceful, secluded surroundings away from main roads and busy traffic but is less than a five-minute walk from Basingstoke town centre, train, and bus station.   We have our own car park for parents for drop off and collection.  

 The rooms are laid out according to each age range. We have Babies, Wobblers, Toddlers and Preschool rooms, spread out over two floors. There is also a large shared garden area with smaller zoned areas for the children to play. 

The nursery was rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2015-2019. In late 2019 the nursery received a ‘Good’ by Ofsted with comments from the Ofsted inspector stating, ‘the nursery is enthusiastic and highly committed team’, the caring staff spend plenty of time playing with children in a positive way from this all children make good progress consistently’. ‘The nursery is inclusive and provides a nurturing and caring environment.’
