As always our aim as a nursery is to provide excellent quality service and professional care for your child, with this in mind we have tried to make our fees affordable to all sectors of the community. The fees include all snacks, breakfast, a full nursery lunch and dessert, tea and refreshments.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 570 hours of free early education. This is usually taken as 15 hours per week over 38 weeks or 11 hours per week over 52 weeks.
Alphabet City are proud to announce that as of September 2017 we offer the 30 hours government entitlement for eligible families. If you are eligible, you will be entitled to the 30 hours from the beginning of the term following your child's 3rd birthday. You can find out if you are eligible by visiting Childcare Choices
Grant funded children are required to pay additional charges for meals, snacks and sundries.
Save Tax and N.I.
If your employer operates a childcare voucher scheme, you can save National Insurance and Income Tax. By registering for your employer's scheme, up to £55 a week can be deducted from your salary and used to provide childcare vouchers for the same amount. This amount, which is deducted from your gross salary, is then exempt from National Insurance and Income Tax. The vouchers are redeemable against the cost of the childcare that you normally have to pay for..
This means that if you are a standard rate taxpayer you will save £916 and higher rate taxpayer will save £1195 per year. As these savings are per parent hence two parents paying by vouchers can save up to £2390 per year!
Voucher providers
We accept vouchers from many providers, but if possible, we prefer to use one of the following companies:
If your employer uses a different provider, the nursery manager will liaise with you to make the necessary arrangements.
